'SpyMe Tools' is a very interesting and useful software. It helps you monitor and track down any changes made in the registry or changes regarding your files and folders. To be more specific, this is a real-time registry and disk monitor.

When running the program, you can switch between 'File Mode' and 'Registry Mode'. When you're in the 'File Mode', you can scan your entire computer or only selected locations (partitions, folders), and create snapshots. Then you can compare the snapshots and find out which files have been modified in the time interval between the two snapshots. You can also shift to real-time monitoring, where the program will monitor added, deleted, renamed files/folders, or any other file changes. You can also view the changes in the access timestamp.

When running the program in 'Registry Mode', you can monitor the Windows registry for values deletion or addition, as well as keys deletion, etc. You can perform regular registry scans and compare the results stored on your computer and track down any changes made to the registry.

Pluses: A very nice option is the thread priority, where you can choose between idle, normal, and real-time priorities. If you are running the program in a busy working environment, you might want to get the job done slower and without having the program disturb your work.

Another good thing is that you can restore a registry key from a Registry Scan dump File. All actions can be logged into a file to give you an accurate view of all the changes made on your system.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: I found this little software extremely useful for monitoring and restoring items in my registry. Excellent.
